For the landscape painter Maxim Vedernikov there is nothing more exiting than mountains. Since his early childhood Maxim enjoyed looking at them, he felt their energy. What does Maxim love?
First, it's his family. Second - his job, third - mountains, rivers, lakes, furtrees, in a word - he loves Nature.
Since his childhood Maxim learnt to understand this beaty. When travelling Maxim always has his album and painter's case with him. He is eager to paint every nook, to express in colours every change in Nature. The artist prefers oil-painting but sometimes uses watercolours. His favourite motive in painting is mountains. They are always different - sometimes at the sunset with soft pinkish hues, sometimes silver-snowy on a bright sunny day. After fishing Maxim brings a great number of sketches, drawings looking at which one gets astonished with the beauty of the road and steppe. What a variety of still life pictures he has - here are wild steppe flowers and fragrant alluring with their fairy energy roses, irises, camomiles, tulips of the city and....touch the flower and it will open or light leaf will fall on the table.
